Stacy has been selected for both the 2015 Oil Painter's of America Salon Show and the 16th National Exhibition of the American Impressionist Society. Stacy has been elected to membership in the prestigious Plein Air Painters of the Southeast---an organization of professional plein air painters living in the southeastern United States. 2015 Solo Exhibition at the University Club of Winter Park, FL. She will be participating in the 2015 Carmel Paint Out. Stacy is honored to be part of the Permanent Collection of the famed Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Garden. Stacy will be exhibiting at the 2015 Casa Feliz Show "There's No Place Like Home", celebrating Winter Park Florida's unique architecture. Accepted to Exhibit in both the Orlando and Tampa 2015 Nude Nite Exhibitions. Best in Show 8th Annual Ray Mar Art Contest November winner. She has been selected as a Raymar Finalist with her painting of Fellow Painter-Bill Orr. Stacy has been selected for the Crealde School of Art, 2012 Director's Choice Exhibition. Stacy has also been selected to exhibit at the 2011 Laumeister Fine Art Competition in Vermont and the 2011 Florida Museum of Women Artists Exhibition. Stacy will have a one man show at the University Club in Winter Park, Florida July, 2011. Stacy will exhibit in the 2011 Salon International with her piece "Drifting Off " and will exhibit in the 2011 Oil Painter's of America National Exhibition with her piece "Piano Forte" and 2011 Naples Museum of Art -Florida Contemporary 2011 Exhibition with her piece "Subtle Light, Delicate Turns" and will participate for the second year in a row at the Carmel Art Festival where she will plein air paint views of Carmel California and also spend time with her new Galerie Julianne in Carmel. Stacy Exhibited in the 2010 American Artists Professional League 82nd Grand National Exhibition in NYC where she one the prestigious Helen DeCozen Award for a Floral. Stacy's work was featured at the Mount Dora Center for the Arts, along with Gregg Kreutz, where she won Best of Show for the 2010 Mount Dora Paint Out. Stacy has been busy studying, drawing and painting the human figure, with her painting "In Front of My Studio Window" accepted for Exhibition at The Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, 114th Annual Open Exhibition at the National Arts Club, New York, and "In the Studio with Jenny" accepted into the 2010 Salon International held in San Antonio, Texas. Stacy has been accepted to exhibit at the 2010 Oil Painters of America National Exhibition held at The Legacy Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona, with her piece, Camellias and Leaves on Grandma's Chinese Table Scarf. Stacy will be teaching both a Still Life and Figurative class or workshop this fall at Crealde School of Art. Stacy has been selected for "Best of Worldwide Oil Artists and Artisans 2010. Stacy won 2nd Place at the 2009 Crescent Beach Paint Out. The Museum presentation of Stacy's work, Spring 2009, at the Schacknow Museum of Fine Arts was a smashing success, attracting patrons of all ages from the southeast. Stacy enjoyed studying with Master Painter Huihan Liu, summer 2009, at his home studio in San Francisco. Stacy is featured in the November 2008 edition of "The Artist's Magazine" "Stacy Barter Masterly Strokes" and includes an online progressional of her painting at www.artistsnetwork.com/article/barter-demo. Her work is included in the permanent collection of The Gulf Coast Museum of Art, and various celebrity homes. Stacy exhibited in both the 106th Annual Catharine Lorillard Wolfe and the 74th American Artists Grand National Exhibitions in New York City, where she received the Helen DeCozen Award for 'My Birthday Roses'. Her paintings were included in both the 72nd Annual Hudson Valley Art Exhibition and the International Museum of Contemporary Masters of Fine Art, Salon International.
She resides in Orlando, Florida with her husband Terry and teaches workshops and is on Senior Faculty with Crealde' School of Art in Winter Park.
